Hi Gang!
As you can tell we have been rolling out around 8pm EST, this is not really the ideal schedule but, it is the way things ahve gone after expanding TDP. Don’t  get used to it, we are still adjusting and are likely change a little more.
Make sure you check out the General news section of today. Today we had the first reported murder of a teen which apparently started with insults on a facebook page.

REINSTATE KIMBERLY MILLER”S ACCOUNT NOW!

Remember – there are four things we can do each day to help get Kimberly reinstated.
Number 1. Block advertisements, you can do this by looking to the right of your screen. See those advertisements? Hit the “X” by them, then choose “Other” when it asks why you are removing the ad. Fill in reason: Please reinstate http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1844831264 (At the current group number of 1268 – if we each spent 5 minutes and blocked 30 today -that would be close to 40,000… those are some serious numbers!)
Number 2. Send emails. A sample letter is down on your right under docs, addresses to send to are in the same doc at the bottom of the letter. Let’s follow Kimberly’s example and do what we did during the last account crisis and keep it pleasant please… we can catch more sugar with honey – it works!
Number 3. Complain to Zynga. There is a doc to your right showing a proven format to follow. Let them know we are NOT happy and they need to help!
And, finally…last but not least………..
Number 4. Send an email to Facebook reminding them to track this petition page. (Format in the Docs to the right)

Just a little bit more to go…maybe tonight…if not…tomorrow. For some reason this is very anticlimactic…..1000 levels x how many hours per level? That’s one big reason the economy is the way it is; 6,000,000 of us are playing Mafia Wars instead of driving, or going out, or shopping, or cleaning so we need to go shopping for more things to clean with…..

DON”T SUBMIT INFORMATION YOU DO NOT WANT IT SHARED.

We DO NOT publish anonymous announcements, particularly if they involve meeting outside the virtual world of FB. If you do include something you don’t want shared then, SAY SO! I have heard twice too many times things like ” I didn’t tell you to post my profile link”. No, we don’t ask nor require permission to name the source of our submissions.
In fact that would be irresponsible  given the number of cybercriminals still hunting “pigeons” in our community not to have traceable attribution on a public online notice.
BTW, I am not trying to embarrass any particular person, this is a general pet peeve of mine. I know we have some really great minds on our staff but, none of us can read minds (well, may be Tim but that;s all!!!).
We love you guys and we hate to upset even one of you but, please,,, a little common sense goes a long way to a safe and happy experience online.  It takes a village guys… :)
One final suggestion, before placing your announcement  or submitting your story to any distribution media. Take  look at the distribution media and make sure you understand it’s style. Think about it, it is you or your organization who will have to own up to whatever you are submitting. Don’t expect the publication to edit or in any way correct your submission. Specially if it is a free community publication where time is very limited and, the staff is very, very busy trying to solve problems for bullied or technology impaired players!  LOL!!!
