BULLIES: The Spearhead Of Cyber Crime

Hi Gang!
Well , as you may know by now we are on a “make our playground safe” kick. With the growing number of scams, hacks and just plain old abusive players going through the roof on Facebook, it is time to take a stand.
But, we can’t do it with out you. I know many of you are concerned and, have responded immediately but, we need more victims to come forward so we can examine your cases and forward them to the appropriate person or agency.
We are still working on that bully we reported and, have already taught some of his victims how to make it impossible for the bully to attack them.  So, the most emotionally draining issue has already been take care of. If you are in the same situation and, feel you can pass a cursory background test, we will be very happy to help you as well.
Now these ladies can concentrate in getting the extortion part of his threats dealt with by the Special Agent in Charge assigned to their case. And, they cajn lso continue enjoying the game.
But, that is just the begining. We need FB to take a much harder position on these people who would take advantage of you. We are not talking about those nutty players that just can’t stop hit listing your, robbing your properties or and,  just attacking you time and time again. And, we are planning a campaign to do just that if we can get enough of you to come on board.
This is about people who use threats of violence, offensive speech in private messages and, use extortive tactics on vulnerable folk just trying to enjoy their favorite game. It is not about regular gamke play (and yes, being attacked 50 times in a row -ten clicks on the power button-, or until you are iced, doesn’t really qualify. But, we can also help you work on that as another part of common game issues between non-criminal players.
We are now investigating the message below. It just came in last night and at this point we have no idea of the validity of these claims of suicide but, rest assured that we will get to the bottom of it and report back to you. In the last email your group sent out on cyber bullies it hit a cord. You covered only a part of what some bullies are doing. I am aware of a guy with several accounts that is a cyber bully but his approach is different that you may want to alert members too. This particular person has bullied women to a point a couple of his victims have committed suicide. He also poses as a woman to lure men into his scam. I almost fell victim to him but had friends that encourage me to listen to my instinct which saved me from a costly mistake. If you would like more info on his scam that I know he and others are using let me know and I will give you what I know so you can alert more to this scam.

Criminal Fraud Alerts!

This is a 419 scam letter commonly know as the “Nigerian Letter” due to the fact that the original versions originated in Nigeria. The scam is so well established that it costs millions to naive folk all over the world. And, at least 11 people have been killed when they went looking for their money . Even the White House released an advisory on this back in the 80′s. The man component of any Con ( Confidence game) is your personal greed. So as long as you think you can get away with getting something for nothing, you are an ideal victim for a con artist. Moral?: DON’T BE GREEDY!

If you ever get a request  promising something for nothing from a total stranger on FB (or anywhere else), g.don’t just throw it away. Report it to the proper authorities (see bottom of this section) and then, throw it away and block said sender with out responding.

Now, to the other very important announcement. As you may have noticed, I am a true believer in our community. And, I have been ever so fortunate to find a great deal of wonderful people in it. One such person is our new Business Manager Robert Slade Russell. Robert is in the same bind many of us are in these rough economic times but, in his case ther is a not so common burden as well. His mom has been diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus and, though not usually survivable, the diagnosis was early enough that the treatment prescribed may see her out of the woods yet. Ufortunately this is very expensive. Now Robert ould not really bring himself to ask for help and, hew does not even want money necessarily. What he really
needs is a BP Monitor ($90.00) and a finger pulse oximeter ($75.00) in short they need $165.00 for the both but, they would will be great full just to get the 2 medical monitors she needs if they could be donated.
I asked him why not just ask for donations without putting a cap on it (just the formula for feeding tube is $170 a month) and, this is what he responded
“We are not nor do we want to seam greedy, my mom and myself are simple people we believe that we only need the bare necessities and to be honest, begging for anything is not in our nature but when times are this tough sometimes you have to ask for help, but like i said i don’t want to come off as being greedy so with that said I’ll leave it in your hands.”
Robert is a long time MW player who was around  before The Post or,  even Jeniffer (the MWLOOTLADY) began writing her blog. He is honiorable, humble and a great friend. So, when I found out of his need, I took it upon myself to ask our community for help in his name. Bald eagle pair and hatchlings become an Internet sensation

The popularity of two American bald eagles in Decorah, Iowa, is soaring, thanks to a web-cam that over the weekend streamed live footage of two of their three eggs being hatched. As of late Tuesday morning the third egg had yet to hatch. A YouTube video (below) of the first slow hatch, which occurred Friday and Saturday, has garnered nearly 300,000 views. The baby eagle first appears, through a tiny hole in the shell, at the 4:40 mark. It’s is seen out of the shell at 8:03.
