We have been reporting on the series of disasters befalling Japan since the first 20 foot waves of the original tsunami event took place.And, though we continue to bring you updates on the situation, we have not given this story the same coverage here as we have in our other media. The reason of course, being that we respect that the relevance of the information presented to game play is the main the reason you read the Daily Post.

However, we thought we should also let you know that AMSWORLDWEB and it's media properties (The Post included), are organizing a very special set of events in Miami Florida for Earth Week (April 16-22). Since our Editor happens to sit on several boards of organizations involved with emergency aid, he is preparing a couple of events to raise funds for the victims at large of the ongoing disaster. Because of his ongoing involvement with Haiti through H.O.W. since that disaster evenet (Haitian Organization of Women, The Southern Baptist Church and Miami Dade County Commissioner Joe Martinez) and the current coverage of visiting would be candidates to the Haitian Presidency, there had not been a real opportunity to organize a fundraiser for Japan.
Well, though we can not give you all the details just yet, we are now helping prepare the guest list for events at the Zen Garden in Coconut Grove in association with Mayor Regalado's office (City of Miami) and, at the Knight Foundation at the University of Miami (Bill served three years as a Journalism Judge for the Silver Knight Awards) in association with the Foreign Press Club of Florida and with guests from the U.S. Department of State.
Both of these events will consist of Public and VIP versions and (as usual), our readers in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Or those visiting) will be invited to attend courtesy of The Daily Post. All details will be made available later this week. If you live in the area or, plan to visit that week, please send us a note so we can add you to our list.

Hi Gang!Today we bring you a beefy post with lots and lots of tidbits on our game of choice. Bangkok is here to stay (at least for a while) and, Brazil is on the rage. Rewardville is becoming a regular stop for many of you and, the Neo-Imperium continues to rise.
