I've finally recieved the itinerary for my day with Zynga for the Players Advisory Committee training event. The big Z has requested of all participants that they do not reveal any partof the event and, is so serious about it that we all had to sign an Non-Disclosure Affidavit in order to attend. Nevertheless, The Daily Post will try to keep you as informed as possible of those things that are released to us as a news organization (without infringing on Zynga's privacy rights). Remember, our first comitment is to make the game and our community as safely enjoyable as possible by pointing you to the best and most reliable publiciy abvailabe information.
I'll be attending in San Francisco this weekend and, I can already see by looking at the itinerary that there's not going to be much else to do but to eat, sleep and breathe Mafia Wars from the time that my plane arrives until I depart again on Sunday morning.
I'm extremely excited about the upcoming event and I'm hoping to be able to take several pictures to share with you all when I return. The details are limited to the schedule and, do remember that I'll be bound under the Non-Disclosure Agreement I mentioned earlier. However, you can rest assured, that whatever information I can reveal, I'll be sure to share with you all as soon as I am able.
The activities will begin on Friday night at 7:00PM and continue through till Saturday night. Unfortunately, my flight doesn't land until after 8:00 that evening so I'll be unable to begin with the rest of our group, but will join them as soon as I get checked into my hotel room. I can already picture us all at a local bar with our laptops open and our game up. I'm certain, however, that the entire stay is going to be not only educational and informative, but also filled with fun and excitement for all of us involved. I'll be sure to send out a post card to you all with a simple note saying "Wish you were here".
I will make an attempt to stay in contact with Bill over the weekend in order to pass along a word or two for inclusion in Monday's edition.***************************
