This week's new feature is...the Power-Up Factory!

This is a brand new building, which allows you to manufacture your own power-ups! with these you can construct power-ups yourself using resources and buildable parts, without needing Empire Points!
Remember: This is a slow roll-out, so if you aren't seeing this feature yet, give it time!
We've also included a number of other fixes and updates!
Additions/Improvements
  • We've opened up a new "Demolition Derby" Leaderboard! Compete with your friends to see who can destroy the most units.

Fixes

  • The game no longer crashes if you pause it during a PVP invasion after all of one side's units have been defeated.
  • The Cabbage, Chili Peppers, and Red Onion crops now sort into the proper location in the farm menu.
  • You can no longer place your research buildings in your neighbors' Empires.

Basically, Krunsch is after CityVille Governor Phil.
The question is why the cross-game promo? Empires and Allies got boring (fast!). Maybe the FarmVille Balloon promo did well enough they’re hoping to get more players playing E&A again.
